Missionary Work Is Awesome

By Buddy Shearer Missionary work is awesome. It is that simple. It is hard to describe the in-describable. Many times people think that the real reason for the trip is for the heathens of the world yet it is so much more than that. Personally, I have been on about eight trips and each one is different. It is very true that God works in mysterious ways. In fact he works in all of our lives but most of the time we cannot see beyond our own selfless world. I can honestly say that I have met people and I knew without a doubt that I was sent to sit with them, encourage them, help them, and support them. Many times people with needs are too proud to ask for that kind of help but when someone shows up in a working environment or even a simple praise time. That small amount of time can have a huge impact in that persons life. Unfortunately, not everyone can go. Many times there are people who believe they have wasted their lives because they did not pursue missions of some sort. Instead, they placed their resources, such as money, in other people and projects for the greater good. They diligently come to the church service where the returning reports and testimonies are given, sit and listen. They rejoice in silence. Recently, I met one such person. She is a retired lady in the church and her husband is confined to a nursing home. But she has that gleam in her eye when the reports come back and I am VERY confident that she is one of the silent givers to our many trips. The positive attitude, smiles, and simple gifts of food given for the departing trip were always thought of as being sweet. But there was so much more than that. No matter what the gift. We usually take them for granted until God puts it into perspective for us. So even though we travel to far off places to reach people that probably do not know God. There are others that benefit too even though they do not board the plane. They may have some reservations about past paths but I feel they are blessed in as much, if not more, than me. The second person concerning missions came out of the blue to me. But I was too late to respond. This man was a meticulous person. A very detailed and analytical thinker. I thought he were very deliberate in every thing he did but missions? No way! As it turned out. He too went to the church services for the reports and testimonies. And like others sat there and absorbed the moment. He asked questions, looked at their souvenirs and marveled at their witnessing stories. But he never went on a trip. It was not until his funeral that I learned of his passion for the mission field. I heard the stories of how money was needed so he setup a special fund so groups would not have to worry about not having enough. He made it happen for them during those short falls in cash and stayed completely anonymous. He even contributed to my trips when mine looked impossible. I wish I could thank him now. I wish I knew then what I know now. Thanks Dad! Copyright (c) 2006 Buddy Shearer Buddy Shearer is not a sought-after Internet marketer but rather a regular guy trying to make a living. What Makes For The Perfect Dating Formula

By Susan Chen People whose marriages unravel most often are filled with sadness and bitterness, and find it hard to ever trust or love anyone again. Though these negative feelings may linger for quite awhile, it is important for the sake of your happiness that you make an effort to put these emotions aside, and when you are ready, to go out and start living again and dating again. You need to believe that you are capable of falling in love and being loved once again. Dating can be the best way to find your ideal life partner. Before jumping into the dating scene, make sure to ask yourself what your needs are and what qualities you want in your new partner. Just read on to learn about the dos and the don’ts of successful dating. Being Positive And Honest Makes For The Perfect Dating Formula * Do not try to hide your past relationships. Instead be open to your date about your past experiences and partners. If your date is mature and sensitive enough he or she will understand and empathize with you. * Do not exaggerate about yourself or past experiences; remember, a relationship that is based on dishonesty is bound to fail. * Share with your date your expectations for the new relationship and try to understand too what the expectations of your date are. * On the basis of your experience, try to judge whether the new man or woman in your life has anything in common with your ex. If there seems to be quite a few similar traits that make you feel uncomfortable, then it may be a good idea to call off the relationship before it gets too serious. Things To Keep In Mind While Dating * There is no rule restricting you to date just one person in the beginning. Try and date actively and even get to know different people through dating services so that you can better understand what type of partner can best provide you with a loving relationship. Dating does not call for any commitment right away; it is only a process that helps you find the right partner that you are willing to commit your love to. * Proceed one step at a time to build a long lasting and enduring love and relationship with your new partner. Being too hesitant or too impatient when dating will not help you find the right partner for you. * Do not get emotionally involved right from the very beginning and do not reveal too much at an early stage. Take time to judge for yourself whether you truly have fallen in love with the person or whether it is just an infatuation. Any relationship between a man and a woman is complex and unpredictable yet exciting, otherwise life would be so lonely and meaningless. Dating just helps to make the process easier and more natural to find the right person for you. Want to find your ideal Date? Give Dating a try at QualityAdultDating.info. Making Love Last

By Michael Tummillo MAKING LOVE LAST Some of the top rationalizations for DIVORCE are: A) Our kids would be better off if they werent exposed to this fighting all the time. B) We just dont love each other any more. C) I need to leave the marriage to find myself, realize my potential. D) Weve grown in different directions. Counselor Ron Kemp agreed said that Christian marriages may fail more often because the spouses expectations of marriage were higher than those of non-Christians. People in the church tend to idealize things, says Kemp, a member of First Baptist Church, Bolivar, Mo. Husbands are supposed to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, and when wives find out a Christian husband can be just as much of a jerk as anybody else, they get disappointed. The same is true for men. They tend to idealize this Christian woman who is supposed to be loving and supportive, and they find out she can be just as critical as anybody. Consultant Jim Talley shocked everyone when he said that the reason for a higher divorce rate among Christians is simple. The divorce rate is high because people are committing adultery, and the people in the church are committing adultery at a higher rate than outside the church, says Talley, president of Oklahoma City-based Relationship Resources and the web site http://www.drtalley.com An Ounce of Prevention The Barna Research Group released a revealing study revealing a high number of Christian divorces in September of 2004 (http://www.barna.org/FlexPage.aspx?Page=BarnaUpdate&BarnaUpdateID=170). According to federal census numbers, the so-called Bible Belt states have the highest divorce rates in the nation. Except for Nevada, where fast divorces are traditionally easy to get, Arkansas, Alabama, Oklahoma and Tennessee lead the nation in divorces. Anthony Jordan, executive director of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma agreed that the age at marriage plays an important role in divorce. Getting married younger tends to put people of immaturity in a place where they are not ready to tackle the pressures marriage brings, Jordan says. Clergy and state government leaders in Oklahoma are trying to curb the states high divorce rate. Jordan and other faith leaders, along with the governor, recently signed a community marriage policy. The policy prevents a clergy member from marrying a couple that has not undergone premarital counseling. Since 75 percent of marriages are done in places of worship, our state initiative decided that if were going to impact marriage, weve got to do it through the faith community, Jordan says. The state realizes the social impact of divorce and the millions of dollars it takes to put Band-Aids on social ills. In our desire to be inclusive to reaching out to people in the hurt of divorce, sometimes the message gets mixed. The strong message of sanctity of marriage, that God hates divorce, gets watered down in our attempt to reach those that are in the pain of divorce. Are you “Divorce Proofing” your marriage? What can be done to divorce-proof YOUR marriage? Use these 6 Keys to a Better Marriage Today. If you want to strengthen your marriage right away, start showing your spouse . . . . Forgiving Love: Because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, all of our sins have been forgiving. The Forgiving Love He has shown us is essential in a marriage. It offers a fresh start after one spouse hurts or offends another. Without forgiveness, no marriage will ever last. Serving Love: Do you know your spouses deepest needs? Loving him or her with a servants heart is the best and quickest way to find out. Serve one another in love (after all the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve). Persevering Love: Marriage is a marathon not a sprint. Are you in it for the long haul . . . or do you have the tendency to bail out or “clam up” when the going gets tough? Persevering Love sustains us through the trials of life (and trials are what makes any marriage real). Guarding Love: In other words, let him or her know that youll do anything to keep the marriage together (as long as its legal and moral, of course). The modern culture isnt all that keen on marriage — even though its the backbone of our society. Guarding Love protects your heart and the heart of your spouse from the threats to your marriage . . . and believe me theyre out there! Celebrating Love: Thats right celebrate your marriage! What a gift the two of you have been given! Celebrating Love equips you to maintain a satisfying emotional, physical and spiritual connection with your mate . . . so celebrate it! All the time, NOT merely on Valentine’s Day or your Anniversary. Renewing Love: No marriage will survive if either or both spouses constantly challenge its integrity by threatening to leave. The fact is, Renewing Love enables both husband and wife to regard the marriage covenant as unbreakable (just like God does). So share this gift with your spouse every day. Rejoice in the fact that youll be together forever . . . for better or worse! These six vital expressions of love will make your marriage better. Theyll also help you teach your children how to understand what biblical love and marriage are all about. Love takes time any good relationship does. So stay the course . . . keep praying . . . and start divorce-proofing your marriage by loving your spouse! (Excerpted from the book, Divorce-Proof Your Marriage by Dr. Gary and Barbara Rosberg. Help! What Happened?

By Jennifer Stewart Let’s be honest, when you’re writing sales material for a product, there are a frightening number of things that can go wrong, aren’t there? Remember Murphy’s Law: what can go wrong will, and at the worst possible moment. Well, we’re going to try to gain some control over events and the best way to gain control is to know what makes things tick … The Communication Process There are four recognised steps in the communications process: 1. The message originates as an idea or concept 2. The sender transmits the message 3. The message is sent 4. The message is received (Academics get paid thousands of dollars to come up with earth-shattering findings like these!) As with most things in life, the system can break down at any one of these stages. The Idea In marketing, the source is usually a product (or service) concept that the sender wants to tell potential buyers about. The key point at this stage is to be certain that your product is going to meet the needs of your target group. Some time ago, a manufacturer of cake mixes came up with a mix that he was certain would appeal to busy housewives — all they had to do was to add water and they could bake a perfect cake every time. The product failed miserably. Follow-up research indicated that women felt guilty that they were not giving their families nourishing food — all they did was add water to what looked like flour. The cake mix was re-launched, but this time consumers had to add an egg as well as the water. The product sold for the same price, it cost the consumer more to make the finished product, but, it was a runaway success. MORAL: It doesn’t matter how great your idea for a product is, if it doesn’t meet the consumers’ needs, it won’t sell. The Sender Very often in advertising, it seems that the message is more important than the product — beautiful images, clever jingles and flashing lights often have little to do with your product. How many times have you sat through a brilliant piece of advertising, but had no idea what was being advertised? We all have; the trick is to make sure that your marketing always focuses on your product and how it meets the needs of your target market. Another problem that can originate with the sender is the use of misleading claims; you just cannot say that your product cures baldness, smoothes wrinkles, eradicates onion weed, gets rid of cockroaches or will make you walk again, if it doesn’t. Nor can you imply, by your marketing, that it does this, if it doesn’t, because this is false advertising. At the moment here, there is a case of false advertising against a certain fast food company because a consumer claims that the burgers he has purchased at different outlets bear no resemblance to the burgers pictured on advertising boards outside the stores. MORAL: Tell the truth in your marketing, and you’ll not only stay out of trouble, you’ll also be able to sleep at night. The Transmission These days we’re all subjected to a continuous bombardment of information (and misinformation) from a variety of media – we wake up to an alarm radio; maybe have the telly on for the morning news; listen to the car radio on the way to work; have a radio playing in the work place; read the paper or a magazine in our lunch break; do a few chores on the way home and glance at the ads on the shop fronts and in the stores; empty the letterbox of all the brochures and flyers; listen to more radio or watch telly; settle down for an hour or two on the Internet after dinner and note all the banner ads … Is it any wonder that we often block out all this clutter from our lives. It’s called selective forgetting, and it’s a survival mechanism we all call upon in order to cope. MORAL: Don’t let your message get lost in the cacophony of the advertising world; keep it simple so that your message can be understood. The Receiver If you get it wrong in any of the previous three steps, it’s no surprise that it will be wrong at this end of the process, too. If customers think your message has no relevance to them, they’ll ignore it, however great your product might be. I have no interest in welding, so it doesn’t matter to me that you have the best deals in welding gear this side of the black stump; it won’t matter how many glossy brochures you shove into the letter box, or how many snazzy coloured ads you run in the pet lovers magazine I buy, I just don’t care about your product. So if you don’t do a bit of research and find out where your potential buyers are, you may as well just donate your advertising budget directly to my Running Away Fund, and at least one of us will be happy! The other problem with this stage of the process is credibility. If you’re a racing car driver, trying to sell me spare parts for my car, I’ll probably listen to you; if you’re trying to sell me crochet patterns, I may not listen at all. MORAL: Since your business depends on the receiver accepting your message, you must put all your efforts into ensuring that the right message reaches the right target. Six Alternative Bridal Bouquet Toss Ideas

By Amber Dusick Is the traditional bridal bouquet toss not for you? Many modern gals are ditching this traditional altogether, and looking for new variations and interpretations. Many women see the bouquet toss as pressure, and hate the implication that single women are chomping at the bit to be married. Here are six alternatives to the traditional bridal bouquet toss that will make everyone happy: Wish Come True Bouquet Toss — Invite all the women onto the dance floor, married and single. Ask them all to make a wish right as the bouquet is tossed and whoever catches it will get their wish. Fortune Bouquet Toss — Invite everyone onto the dance floor and have a bouquet that consists of several small bunches of flowers are simply held together in your hand. On each bunch, have a handwritten fortune attached to it that you made up. When you throw the flower bunches in the air, they break apart so several people will get a fortune bouquet. Before throwing a break apart bouquet make sure they are easily separated and not entwined together so they really do break apart in the air. Longest Married Bouquet Toss — Invite all married couples onto the dance floor and have the DJ announce that everyone married less than 5 years to leave, then less than 10 years to leave and so on until the couple married the longest is left dancing and they are awarded with the bouquet. Keep in mind that this may not be the right bouquet toss for you, especially if you have a recently deceased grandparent that would have been married the longest if they were still living. This also focuses on married people and leaves out the single folks. Special Honors Bouquet Toss — Split up the bouquet into halves and give one half to your mother and one to your mother-in-law. The bridal bouquet could also be presented to grandparents, split apart for all the women in the bridal party, presented to your maid of honor, your sisters, a friend who is engaged, etc. Think of someone youd like to honor and give it to them as a good luck bouquet. Favors Toss — Instead of tossing flowers, toss the wedding favors! Much like candy being tossed in a parade you can toss small or soft favors to the guests. Children can help in the fun, and everybody has a chance to get something. Candy, small stuffed animals, silly toys and gift cards are good choices. Gift Cards & Money Bouquet Toss — Rather than have fortunes attached to a break away bouquet, why not attach gift cards (from coffee shops, record stores, etc) to your bridal bouquet! Rolled up $1-$20 bills is also fun for everyone. You can invite everyone onto the dance floor, men and women alike. So rather than skip the bridal bouquet toss entirely, why not start your own tradition? Unusual tosses can be explained by your DJ, an appointed person or written in your program. Choose a bridal bouquet toss that is meaningful to you and dont be afraid to simply present it to someone you care about. Pre-paid SIM Card for Norway

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=John_Dulaney]John Dulaney Norway is situated in the western side of the Scandinavian Peninsula, and lies in the border of Sweden, Finland and Russia. This Nordic country is elongated in shape and includes the Arctic island of Svalbard and Jan Mayen. However, Norway’s sovereignty on Svalbard, is based on what is known as the Svalbard Treaty. This treaty is not applicable to Jan Mayen. Norway has been claiming a lot of territories and amongst them are the Bouvet Island in the South Atlantic Ocean and Peter I Island in the South Pacific Ocean. The country also claims Queen Maud Land in Antarctica, where they have established the Troll permanent research station. The extensive North Atlantic coastline of the Kingdom of Norway is home to its famous fjords. The Norwegian kingdom underwent many changes over the next several decades since 994 AD. Before that it had faced many invasions from the Vikings. Norway was drawn into an union with Denmark in the year 1397, which lasted for four centuries. Norway fought hard with Sweden in the year 1814 and resisted the cession of their country. Sweden invaded Norway again, but let Norway keep its constitution and accept the union under the Swedish King. Through-out the 19th century, the growing nationalism in Norway led to a referendum in the year 1905, which granted the country its independence. Though Norway remained neutral in the First World War, it suffered heavy losses to its shipping. Even though Norway remained neutral at the time of World War II, the country was occupied by the Nazis and was under their occupation from 1940-45. The discovery of oil and gas reserves in adjacent waters in the late 1960s opened up Norway’s economic fortunes. Referenda were held in the country in the years 1972 and 1994, where Norway rejected joining the European Union. The population of Norway is chiefly concentrated along the southern coast and valleys, where the main cities, Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand, and Drammen are located. In the extreme north, the cities include, Narvik, Troms, and Hammerfest. The majority of Norway population consists of Scandinavians, with Lapps and Finns predomination in the north of the country. Danish has been the official language in Norway for many years and Riksml has been derived from this language. The state church is the Lutheran Church, but all other religion has their freedom to worship as they like. Norway has very high educational level and the leading universities are in Oslo, founded in 1811, with Bergen, which was founded in1946. Oslo is the capital city of Norway. It is located in the south-eastern part of the country and has a population of about half a million of people. A Similar number lives in the Akershus, a county which is an hours drive from Oslo. Very few cities in Europe can be compared with this capital city and its surroundings, with business opportunities, educational and research facilities, cultural commitments and natural beauty, including its economic and political stability, availability of abundance energy, excellent communications, a skilled work-force and an exceptional quality of life. Subsequently, shipping industry and forestry were developed, which made Oslo play a major role in the country’s economy and still enjoys this reputation. The predominantly wooden city of Oslo was burnt to the ground in the year 1624. It was re-built on its present site by King Christian IV, and was named Christiania in honour of the King. This name was kept alive for 300 years. The capital city grew into a major financial military and administrative centre by mid 1800′s. In days to come, Oslo would become an important city, developed into a major trading center, primarily dealing with Germany and Central Europe. Following Norway’s unity with Denmark from 1380 to 1814 and with Sweden there-after, the country finally gained independence in the year 1905. A major arts festival was held in the city of Oslo in June 2005 to celebrate the centenary. The climate in Oslo is surprisingly not as cold as is expected for its high-latitude. The average temperature in the summer hovers at around 20 Degree Celsius, but in winter the temperature goes below freezing point. It is dark in winter and becomes gloomy. Winter is the time when sports like cross country and down-hill skiing opportunities become very popular around the ski trails and slopes in the vicinity of the city. Summer days are long and the Sun briefly goes below the horizon and it never gets really dark. This is a perfect season where people are mostly outdoors, exploring the parks and the hiking trails, and, at times, relaxing in the beaches of the fjord. The dark and dull sub-arctic winter nights of Oslo has now been transformed into a city of active night life. With drinking laws becoming liberal Oslo’s streets are full of vibrant life and its oil revenue has created provisions to support arts and culture, making it a thriving and animated city. The Gateway to the Fjords, as Bergen is called, is the second and is the most attractive city of Norway. It has the most impressive surrounding of three mountains on three of its sides, with the North Sea on the fourth, dotted with islands. The city of Bergen was found in the year 1070 by the Viking King Olav Kyrre. This was quickly established as a town, with its fortunate combination of sheltered harbour and easy reach of its rich fishing grounds. It became Norway’s capital city by the beginning of the 13th century and enjoyed the status until late 1200. In early days of mobile telephony, cell phones were limited to prosperous few and it has now become a part of life. As per the statistics, in 1992 about 1% of the people living worldwide had access to this magic wonder and only one-third of the countries had cellular networks. Presently more people have cell phones compared to the number with conventional phone lines. Let us get back to those days, when cell phones were not available or were luxuries and not a necessity as today. You had gone for visits abroad and you did not have a cell phone with you at that time. You had to use the telephone in your hotel room to call your business associates, friends and your family back home. When you went out of your hotel, people who wanted to get in touch with you urgently, just could not and left messages for you at the hotel reception desk. You knew that its just too costly using that phone in your hotel room, but you had no other option. Then came the time of cell phones. You had taken yours to trips abroad and availed the roaming facility. Roaming provides you with the ability to automatically make and receive calls, transfer and receive data or access other services, when you are travelling outside the geographical coverage area of your home network. As you travel out of your home network, you are considered to be a visiting subscriber of a different network. This facility is supported through a roaming agreement between your home network and the network that you are visiting and this agreement involves commercial terms. If the network that you are visiting is in the same country as your home network, it is called National Roaming and if it should be a foreign network that you are visiting, it is termed as International Roaming. Therefore, when you are in a city in Norway, you are on International Roaming. If the foreign network that you are visiting is of a different standard than that of your home network, then you are on Inter-standard Roaming. Which-ever might be the case, when you are in Norway, each time you make or receive a call, you are utilising the services of your visiting network in Norway and by the roaming agreement your home network pays the foreign operator. This what makes roaming expensive, where you are charged higher than normal for the calls you make and receive and for any other services that you avail through your cell phone. There is a way by which you can save on your expenses. A pre-paid SIM card for Norway saves up to 80% of your expenditures. When you buy a pre-paid SIM card for Norway, you get a local Norwegian number and you are charged at local rates. All your incoming calls are free, no matter where they generate from and you do not pay for roaming. You do not have to enter into any contract with any service provider and you do not receive any bill at the end of the month. When you buy a pre-paid SIM card for Norway, you receive a small talk time credit along with it and this enables you to use your cell phone straight away as soon as you reach your destination in Norway. As you run low on your talk time credit, you can replenish it quickly and easily. You can buy recharge coupons in practically any shop in the cities in Norway. These coupons are available in different denominations and you have the option to choose the value of the credit that you would want. Since your air time usages are pre-paid, you have the absolute control over the money that you are spending for the purpose and you can remain within the budget that you have set for your call expenses. A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card is a printed circuit board that is inserted at the back of your cell phone, in a slot under the battery. The circuitry in a SIM card has a microprocessor with memory. It is a smart card that renders your cell phone intelligent and enables you to make and receive calls and utilise other facilities provided by mobile services. SIM cards are meant for operation with Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM). It holds your personal identity in form of your SIM card number, your calling plan, the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) of your mobile phone and other security details. As you switch on your phone, the information is transmitted to the nearest tower of the network in the country that you are visiting. This is then matched with the information available in the database of operator. Your cell phone gets logged into the network as soon as the details have been checked and found to be correct. A SIM card also holds your address book, in which you can store the names and phone numbers of the people that you frequently get in touch with. It also logs your incoming and outgoing calls and even those calls which you fail to answer. These are logged along with their relative time and date. Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) is the first open architecture digital technology. It is the second generation (2G) of mobile telephony, replacing the old first generation (1G) system. It was first developed in Europe and is now used over 214 countries with 80% subscribers amongst the mobile users in the world. GSM has four set of frequency bands – 850 MHz, 900 MHz, and 1800 MHz and 1900 MHz which are distributed to different regions using GSM technology. Some of these bandwidths are commonly used by some of the countries. The networks in North America, Canada and few other countries in the Americas use 850MHz and 1900MHz, which may be mentioned as exclusively used by that part of the world. The major advantage with GSM technology is that, you have the facility to be in touch with the people anywhere in the world and make yourself available just about from anywhere in this planet. You would need a GSM phone to operate in Norway. If you have a GSM handset, it is unlikely that it will work in that country, unless you have a multiple frequency cell phone. The networks in Norway operates on 900MHz and 1800MHz GSM frequency bands, where-as, North America, Canada and a few neighbouring countries work on 850MHz and 1900MHz GSM bandwidths, which is entirely different from that of the Norway networks. This difference would not allow your phone to be used in Norway, unless you have a multi-frequency phone, supporting the network frequency of that country. To facilitate use of GSM cell phones in different parts of the world, handsets are available in multi-frequency bands. The Quad-band GSM phones, operate on all the GSM frequencies and there-by is suitable for use the world over. The Tri-band works on 800MHz, 900MHz and 1800MHz frequency bands, and operates in most part of the GSM region. There is the Dual-band, having compatibility with two of the GSM frequency bands – 800MHz and 1900MHz. The GSM phone that you are taking with you on your visit to Norway, should be SIM unlocked, as otherwise, you will not be able to use your pre-paid SIM card for Norway or any other SIM card for that matter. A SIM locked cell phone will only work with the SIM card which is meant for the phone. Why are cell phones SIM locked? Consider the following example. When you sign a contract with a service provider, a clause in that contract might stipulate that you will have to use the services of this particular provider for a definite period of time. This is generally one year. In exchange, you will receive a cell phone of your choice, within the models offered by the service provider, and at the end of the contract the cell phone becomes yours. When you receive the phone, you also receive a SIM card from your service provider. The phone that you have received is SIM locked, and would only work with the SIM card that came along with it. At the end of the contract period the service provider helps you to SIM unlock your phone, when it may be used with any SIM card of your choice. If you are a frequent traveller, visiting foreign countries, you may consider buying a GSM cell phone with frequency bans matching that of the networks of the countries that you visit. If you do not travel that frequently, it is economical for you to rent a compatible GSM phone to serve your purpose when you visit abroad. For more information on buying or renting a GSM cell phone, visit www.planetomni.com/FAQ_gsm.shtml Whether you are taking your phone to Norway, buying or renting one, there are two important matters that you should take care of. The first one is, that you must ensure that your GSM cell phone is compatible with the Network frequency bands in Norway and second, that your phone is not SIM locked. A pre-paid SIM card for Norway is affordable and it saves you substantially on your phone call expenses. The most important matter of all is that you do not pay for your incoming calls and there are no roaming charges. The pay for your calls as the locals do and you get a local number. Since you pre-pay for your calls, you are in control of your expenses. There is no contract for you to sign and you do not receive any bill at the end of the month. Cell phone use overseas. In 99% of the world the local cellular service standard is called GSM. We use this in the states as well. When combined with a SIM CARD (which usually goes under the battery of the phone) the phone is able to communicate and the SIM CARD also holds the telephone number and memory for pre-paid credit. Rates can be extremely low using this system. For example in 99% of all SIM CARDS incoming calls are free and calls to the states can cost a trifle. Such as, from the UK to the USA 7 cents/minute, from Israel 22 cents, from Australia 27 cents. Yes, USA Dollar cents! There are today even prepaid service providers in the USA offering rates of 10 cents per minute to call anywhere in the US to any type of phone. No contracts, no credit card checks, no bills. Pre-paid always means no minimums no contracts, no obligations. You only pay for the calls made. You’ll need an unlocked GSM tri-band or quadband UNLOCKED phone. You can buy factory unlocked phones and sim cards for more than 170 of the 193 countries on earth from http://www.planetomni.com Tel. # 800-514-2984 Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=John_Dulaney http://EzineArticles.com/?Pre-paid-SIM-Card-for-Norway&id=394947 free cellphones no credit check legitimat bad credit personal loan cheap payday loans loan for bad credit

What You Need to Know to Reach and Engage Women as Consumers

By Kelley Connors Women as consumers are different from men as consumers in so many ways! Men are more direct-driven to their destination goal, while women meander and enjoy the journey. Women are multi-taskers and jugglers trying to stay in control while working hard at many different things in their life. As a marketer, you must first understand women as consumers. You must know why health and wellness is important to them in their multi-dimensional roles as consumers, caregivers, career women and community leaders. Gone are the days when most women were stay at home moms or at least similar in their life paths and stages. Todays women are interested in health for a variety of reasons that relate to their multi-dimensional lives. Here Are My Top 4 Essential Strategies to Reaching and Engaging Women as Consumers: 1. Involve women in co-parenting or creating your messages with you. Informal, interactive research providing springboards for spontaneity helps create a more transparent, empowering and compelling messages your audience (women) wants to hear and trust. This is one of the most intuitive, and most effective marketing to women strategies. Remember, women love to share ideas, spontaneous feelings, dreams, fears an most of all information. Todays women are seeking information and readily sharing what they have read in health or self-help books, womens magazines and on the Internet. To create a dynamic exchange of information and ideas and to maximize spontaneity, host these natural gatherings in settings such as coffee lounges, spas and wellness centers, living rooms and restaurants. You may even want to create a mini TV talk show and discover salient issues that can propel your marketing efforts and build your business. 2. Position your message in a womans peripheral vision. Neither a full frontal attack nor splashy, expensive product or service-focused advertising will capture a womans attention and loyalty. Marketing to women successfully requires a careful consideration of their beliefs and values. This includes: Identifying creative approaches to connecting with the social and community causes that are important to women Aligning your brands essence and key messages to those social and community causes Reinforcing the role of a total wellness and lifestyle solution, rather than a product-centric or service-centric brand approach 3. Target women in life stages, not age stages. Identify the life stages, your targeted women prospects are living in today. For example, your targeted women prospects may be in their fitness phase, — the phase that usually takes place early in a womans life when its all about her own healthy body. Your prospects could be in their family-centric stage, which normally ranges from the early 20s to the 40s, when family comes first and children are growing, or she could be in the discovery stage which is more about the woman refining and expressing who she is. Or, your targeted women prospects may be a seasoned woman who is experiencing a surge in vitality in her love and sex life after 50. 4. Think mother-daughter bonding. Strong intergenerational influences can be found between women and their daughters, and between women and their mothers. Information and advice, especially related to healthcare, is solicited. It flows freely from one generation to another. Reinforcing this idea, Medelia Monitor Research recently revealed that 64 percent of women surveyed talk with their mothers on a daily or weekly basis. More than 41 percent say their moms are their best friends. Final Marketing to Woman Thoughts: Spark Dialog, Inspire Action & Profit from Women Consumers Remember, women are newly empowered decision-makers, purchasers and influencers. You can leverage that empowerment to your advantage. Building a brand, enhancing an organization or companys reputation, and building trust takes more than sending out controlled messages that speak to women in their multiple roles. Winning their minds and hearts means connecting with them and with their influences. This will give you greater credibility, visibility and involvement in your targeted prospects lives. Whether you are providing products or services that help women at home, work or play, you will be able to break through the spin to build trust and profit greatly from women consumers, if you take my advice and connect to them at all levels. How to Grow Marrows!

By Terry Blackburn Growing Marrows Marrows are a vegetable not used in this country nearly enough. There are many types and varieties, some dwarf, others almost climbers. Marrows are a firm fleshy vegetable, which belongs to the gaud section of the cucumber family, which includes courgettes, squashes and pumpkins. Marrows are an easy crop to grow; children find them fun, fascinated and excited by the crops rapid growth. Plants like these kindle interest in gardening at an early age which gives hope for the future, for once the passion for growing plants and good quality home grown foods has been kindled, it generally continues throughout a person’s life Soil Preparation Marrows prefer heavier soils; they do best in positions where there is shelter from cold winds. When preparing the ground, add plenty of manure and compost where the plants are to grow; this should be dug into the ground quite deeply about 9 inches. Begin by digging a trench 9 inches (228mm) deep put in the manure then dig another putting the soil from this into the first trench. This will form a ridge; continue to do this to add manure and compost and create a series of ridges. The marrows can be planted into the ridges, 6 ft. (180cm) apart for the trailing varieties, 4 ft. (120cm) apart for the bush types. Sowing For best results sow three-year-old seed, this will help ensure that the plants produce a greater proportion of female blooms. At the beginning of April sow the seed in John Innes seed compost in 3 in. (76mm) pots in a greenhouse at a temperature of about 50 deg. F. (10 deg C.). Harden off the young plants by putting them into frames at the end of April. Plant them out along the ridges at the end of May though it might be as late as June in the north. Planting Water the pots well before planting out. Avoid holding the plants by their stems as they are easily bruised causing them irreparable damage. If the weather is cool cover each plant for the first week to give them a little warmth and protection. One of the best methods I find is to use a half of a clear plastic 5 litre mineral bottle; a bottle makes two excellent cloches. The top half, whilst giving protection also allows air and moisture through the neck onto the plants. To prevent flying insects entering through the neck of the bottle, I secure a small piece of fleece with an elastic band. General care Trailing varieties should have the tip of the main shoot pinched back by an in. when they are 1 ft. (45cm) long, this encourages the formation of side growth (laterals) on which the bulk of the female flowers will be borne. As the plants grow they will require extra manure and compost; this should be given as mulch around the base of each plant. For extra protection against the surface roots from drying out, grass clippings can also be used as mulch. Marrows require plenty of water so that they are able to grow and fully develop, soak the roots thoroughly and regularly. On the other hand, in very wet weather too much trailing leafy growth may result in which case; clip back the shoots to allow more air to circulate around the flowers and developing fruits. Harvesting In a good summer, marrows can often be cut in July; keep cutting them when they are young and the plants will continue cropping until well into September. If the intention is to store some for winter use, leave the fruits on the plant until October. I find that I generally produce too many fruits for my own use. The surplus I trade with my local grocer and my immediate neighbours; in my neighbour’s case they are exchanged for home made jams and preserves. Terry Blackburn. Urgent Cash Loans: Catering to Your Immediate Demands of Money

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Alec_Recce]Alec Recce There is time value of money. How often are we plagued by the instant shortage of it. Every now then we encounter an awkward situation where in we wish to buy any object of our desire and we find we have got an amount which when supplemented by some more would have been sufficient for the purpose, result we dont buy that thing instead our savings for that specific object also gets spent on some way or the other. This is where urgent cash loans come to help us. There are situations of emergencies which cant be ignored and we need to have the amount needed for them, like we cant wait when there is a need for an emergency medical aid. The best part of the urgent cash loans is the time involved in availing them which happens to be as little as anything. You apply for it and you can have it the very next day. Some facts regarding the urgent cash loans: You need to apply online and there are organizations who offer the facility to forward your applications to a number of lenders for processing. It saves your time as you need not visit many lenders to find the best deal. If you are availing a secured loan then you need to furnish some collateral against which you can get the loan equal or more than the value of your collateral. You can opt for an unsecured loan if you dont want to risk your property but the interest charged will be a bit higher than that for secured loans as the lender has to compensate the risk involved in getting the repayment. The amount that can be availed as loan depends on factors as listed below:- 1. Secured or unsecured loan (certainly high in case of secured one), 2. Your ability to pay back, 3. Purpose of loan 4. Your source of income and some others factors depending on the lender. Urgent cash loans interest rates and repayment procedures: The interest can be fixed or variable as per your convenience. Typically the interest rate is 11.4% APR variable or fixed for first five years. Interest rate varies from 8.4%APR to 17.9%APR. For unsecured loan you may need to submit the proofs related to your residence, monthly income, ability to repay the loan amount etc. You must be a bit judicious in deciding about the repayment terms so that you dont make any defaults otherwise you can get yourself into a situation of bad credit score. Also be careful in the amount you are borrowing which should not be against your monthly income and regular expenditure. Alec Reece has a way with dealing with loans for a long time. Writing articles is just a way to extend this to consumers and provide empowerment through information.
